Faulk tells it like it is when it comes to Martz

Hall of Fame running back Marshall Faulk tells it like it is when it comes to Mike Martz.
“If you mess up, if you don’t do your job, if you don’t work hard he’s extremely difficult to deal with,” said the former Rams star.
“If you decide to take a day off, you will hate Mike Martz. I mean, if you show up for work or meeting and you are not prepared you will hate him. It’s that simple.”
Simple is not how Martz’s offense is described.
“It’s not about the offense, it’s about the quarterback,” said Faulk. “If the quarterback can call it and learn it, everybody else can call it and learn it because he has more on his plate than anybody else.
“They’re going to run what Cutler can handle.”
In the Martz attack, Faulk said the quarterback is rarely wrong.
“You are taught…don’t fool the quarterback. He’s expecting you to be at a certain spot.
That ball will be thrown there. You have to be there. The learning curve is based on Cutler and what his abilities are…I mean he’s a Vanderbilt guy…he should be able to digest it in a week.”
Cutler has never played in a system like the one he is about to learn
