Lovie Smith will not hold his usual Monday news conference today- said to be meeting with team officials instead, while the players face the microphones in a season ending open locker room session.   Smith won’t face reporters until Tuesday at the earliest.  The coach is scheduled to join WBBM Thursday morning at 7:45, after both sides agreed days ago to postpone his final Monday morning appearance.  There’s dust getting kicked up at Halas Hall and it needs to settle before any official announcements are made regarding the future of the coaching staff.
