If you believe, you can achieve.

If you believe, you can achieve.
“The level of belief has to be high,” said defensive captain Lance Briggs. “You have to believe in what we’re doing. And that can be echoed throughout the locker room, throughout this building, and throughout the city of Chicago.”
With only four wins in their first nine games, the Bears believe they remain in the hunt for a playoff spot. However, that belief can quickly disappear with a loss to the visiting Philadelphia Eagles Sunday night at Soldier Field.
“I think we’re nearing that phase where we know that every game counts and we kind of have to have the mentality that we need to win now, “said defensive co-captain Adewale Ogunleye.
Until the Bears play a complete game void of nagging mental errors, penalties, and poor execution, their words remain a hard sell.
“It doesn’t take all the doomsday predictions to get us motivated,” said linebacker Hunter Hillenmeyer. “You’ve got to be a pro, you’ve got to show up every day and you’ve got to do your job and you’ve got to come at it with a purpose.”
“I know it’s hard to talk about it right now, but if we win games down the stretch we’ve still got a chance to do everything we wanted to do this year.”
It starts with a single step against a playoff contender Sunday night.
